4 Bead (4 Teni/Sholo Guti/4 Daane) Game
The 4 Bead game, also known as 4 Teni, Sholo Guti, or 4 Daane, is an engaging strategy game that can be enjoyed by two players. Each player starts with 4 beads, and the objective is to protect your beads while trying to capture your opponent's. The game begins automatically once both players are registered, with the first player taking the initial move. The gameplay involves strategic bead movement, and the first player must select a bead to move to the nearest available position.
Players have two primary ways to maneuver their beads:
- By moving the nearest bead: This method allows players to strategically position their beads to avoid capture by the opponent. Importantly, players can only move a bead to the nearest position once per turn.
- By crossing another player's bead: If a player's nearest bead is an opponent's bead and the position beyond it is empty, the player can cross over the opponent's bead. This move can be made multiple times within a single turn, allowing for dynamic gameplay. After crossing, the player must end their turn by either clicking the 'PASS' button or by selecting the bead they moved after crossing.
The game's outcome hinges on which player loses all their beads first. For example, if Player 1 loses all their beads before Player 2, then Player 2 is declared the winner. This simple yet strategic game tests players' foresight and tactical skills, making it a favorite among strategy game enthusiasts.
