For use exclusively with Wacom One pen tablets CTC4110WL & CTC6110WL on Android 8-13.
FOR ANDROID 8-13 ONLY:
When using your Wacom One pen tablet with an Android device running Android 8-13, it's important to note that the screen of your Android device might have a different aspect ratio compared to the drawing area on your Wacom One pen tablet. Without the Wacom Center App, this difference in proportions can result in distorted drawings on your screen relative to your pen strokes on the tablet.
The Wacom Center app is essential for achieving distortion-free drawing. It calculates the precise size of the Wacom One's drawing area to ensure your artwork looks exactly as intended, adjusting the drawing area accordingly. Areas outside of this designated drawing space will remain inactive. Additionally, on most Android devices, you have the flexibility to choose from three different options for positioning the drawing area, allowing you to customize your drawing experience to your preference.
With these adjustments in place, you can now immerse yourself in your creative process and enjoy drawing seamlessly.
Important Note: For optimal performance, virtually all Android 8-13 devices must be used in portrait orientation when paired with a pen tablet like the Wacom One. Android 8-13 does not support pen tablet input in landscape orientation or Desktop mode.
FOR ANDROID 14 & LATER:
If you're using Android 14 or a later version, you won't need the Wacom Center app. Android 14 has built-in features that automatically ensure your drawings are free from distortion across all device orientations. To connect your Wacom One pen tablet, simply pair it via Bluetooth in your Android system settings. If you've previously installed the Wacom Center app on a device running Android 14 or later, you can safely uninstall it as it's no longer required.
