Upcoming Features (v0.2 and beyond):
Future updates will include bug fixes (player feedback greatly appreciated!), improved early game features, vehicles, interactive random events (bus crashes, helicopter crashes, resource drops), enhanced sentry gun upgrades, and much more. Planned additions include civilian and VIP rescue operations, expeditions, expanded research trees, unit customization, explosives, emplacements, a population mood system, and extensive sandbox options (grid size, starting resources, etc.). Further updates will focus on visual improvements, performance optimization, and the addition of a weather system, day/night cycle, and quarantine facilities.
Known Issues:
- Wall layering issues after loading saved games.
- Increased zombie speed after a high number of kills/evacuations.
- Low FPS on the main menu (under investigation).
- Large install size due to high-quality animations.
- Missing rescued survivors after loading a saved game (workaround: evacuate before quitting).
- Persistence of dead units after loading a saved game.
- Worker and builder count resets after loading a saved game.
- Occasional builder and worker pathfinding issues.
