World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Seven Weeks of Turbulent Timeways!
World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, and this time it's even bigger. Running for seven consecutive weeks until February 24th, this event offers a non-stop Timewalking adventure across various expansions. Prepare for bountiful rewards, including a massive influx of Timewarped Badges, a significant experience boost, and the chance to earn a coveted new mount.
This expanded event builds upon the successful five-week run from September 2023. Players will once again have the opportunity to earn the stackable Mastery of Timeways buff, providing a 20% experience bonus after completing four Timewalking dungeons. However, the stakes are higher this time around.
The Timewalking Tour:
The seven-week journey through time begins on January 7th with Mists of Pandaria and concludes with Cataclysm the week of February 18th. Each week features a different expansion's Timewalking content, including quests, dungeons, and raids.

- January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
- January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
- January 21-27: Legion
- January 28-February 3: Classic
- February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
- February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
- February 18-24: Cataclysm
Rewards and Achievements:
Achieve Mastery of Timeways in five out of the seven weeks to unlock the "Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2" achievement and claim the adorable Timely Buzzbee mount as your reward! Timewalking vendors will also offer new permanent items, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor, and a second chance to obtain the Sandy Shalewing pet for those who missed it last time. Completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest will yield Heroic gear throughout the event.
A Busy Start to 2025:
With the recent conclusion of the WoW 20th-anniversary event (featuring 11 weeks of Timewalking!), and the addition of Turbulent Timeways, players will be Timewalking for a staggering 18 consecutive weeks. The event's end date also hints at future plans. The final Timewalking campaign concludes on February 24th, suggesting a February 25th release for Patch 11.1, "Undermined," aligning with Blizzard's typical release schedule and factoring in the holiday season. Coupled with the return of Plunderstorm and the upcoming War Within update, World of Warcraft is poised for an action-packed start to 2025.
