Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl's Brain Scorcher Warehouse: Bypassing the Locked Door
The Brain Scorcher, a memorable location in the Stalker universe, also features in Stalker 2. A Tamper-Proof Stash within a warehouse presents a locked door puzzle. However, a clever workaround exists, involving a bit of parkour across the Brain Scorcher structure itself.
Locating the Warehouse
Find the Brain Scorcher in the northern Malachite region. The Tamper-Proof Stash, marked on your map, leads you to a warehouse with a locked front door. This isn't the intended entry point.
Accessing the Warehouse
To enter:
- Circle the warehouse to the left, ascending the orange stairs to reach stacked boxes.
- Utilize the boxes to leap over the containers to the right, progressing to the next set of containers.
- Jump over the crane on your right, running to its end.
- Drop down onto the containers below, navigating a zigzag path to an opening at the warehouse's rear.
Inside the Warehouse: Trip Mines
Inside, be cautious of trip mines along the path to the Stash. Disarm them carefully as you approach the front of the warehouse.
Looting the Stash and Exiting
The Tamper-Proof Stash (a large, already unlocked safe) awaits. Gather its contents (ammo, medkits, etc.). To leave:
- From the power panel, head right and further down the warehouse.
- Locate and activate a generator lying amidst boxes to restore power.
- Return to the power panel near the entrance and flip the switch to unlock the door.
This method allows you to bypass the locked door and complete your exploration of the Brain Scorcher warehouse.
