Gaijin Entertainment has announced the upcoming "Firebirds" update for War Thunder, arriving in early November. This major update boasts a significant addition of new aircraft, ground vehicles, and warships.
New Aircraft: A Trio of Powerhouses
This update introduces iconic military aircraft, including:

F-117A Nighthawk: War Thunder's first stealth aircraft! Its unique design, featuring hard edges and radar-absorbing materials, allows it to evade radar and infrared detection. Its effectiveness was legendary during Operation Desert Storm.

Su-34 Fullback: Russia's powerful fighter-bomber joins the fray, bringing considerable firepower.

F-15E Strike Eagle: An enhanced F-15 variant, boasting a 50% larger payload capacity and advanced ground target detection radar. It’s equipped with a devastating arsenal, including AGM-65 Maverick missiles, laser-guided bombs, JDAMs, and even the GBU-39 satellite-guided bombs (20 at a time!).
Beyond the Skies: Ground and Naval Additions
The "Firebirds" update also expands ground and naval forces with additions such as:
