Week 2 of The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event presents a puzzling challenge: studying a Historical Display. This guide clarifies the process and addresses common issues.
Locating a Historical Display:
The Week 2 quest requires interacting with a Historical Display, encompassing both paintings and sculptures, located within a museum. Consult your in-game map; museums are represented by a pillar icon. Municipal Muses (Willow Creek) and The Future's Past (Oasis Springs) offer convenient proximity to other event tasks.
Studying the Display:
Upon entering a museum, locate a painting or sculpture. Clicking on it presents a "View" option. Selecting "View" completes the quest, indicated by the appearance of the Emit icon.
Troubleshooting Common Problems:
Many players report difficulty with this task, often attributed to conflicting mods. If the "View" option is unresponsive, consider temporarily disabling mods to resolve the issue. If the problem persists, attempting multiple displays across various museums may provide a workaround. Hopefully, EA will address this bug soon.
