RuneScape's newest challenge, the Gate of Elidinis, has arrived! This exciting new story quest and skilling boss introduces an adventure to restore the corrupted statue of Elidinis.
Continuing the fight against Amascut's corruption, following the "Ode of the Devourer" quest, Gate of Elidinis offers fresh gameplay and familiar themes.
Confronting the Corruption in the Gate of Elidinis
Once a sacred passage for the departed, the Gate of Elidinis is now tainted by Amascut's dark influence. Lost souls wander, trapped in her evil grasp. Players, solo or in groups of up to nine, must confront the Gate of Elidinis boss. Preparation is key; mining Moonstone and crafting Spiritual Barriers are crucial to combat the corruption.
Strong Mining, Crafting, Divination, and Agility skills are essential for cleansing the statue fragments and resisting Amascut's power. Check out the official update announcement below!
Rewarding Your Efforts
The rewards for purifying the Gate of Elidinis are substantial. New skilling and combat gear awaits, including the Runecrafting Off-Hand "Runic Attunement" and the Divination Off-Hand "Memory Locus." A new Combat Prayer, a God Book, and a charming boss pet, Edie, are also up for grabs. The Gate of Elidinis Hunt event provides additional opportunities to collect shards, complete tasks, and unlock cosmetic overrides and temporary buffs with the aid of the Priestesses of Elidinis.
