How To Revive Teammates in R.E.P.O.

Playing R.E.P.O. with friends is a blast, but even the best squads face tough odds against the game's relentless monsters. Sometimes, a teammate bites the dust. Luckily, reviving fallen comrades is possible, even if it requires a bit of macabre teamwork. Here's how to bring your buddies back from the brink.

Each round in R.E.P.O. starts with 100 health. Monsters and even your own grenades can quickly deplete this. Health packs scattered around the Service Station offer replenishment, and a unique mechanic allows teammates to share health by interacting with each other's health bars – a clever feature that deserves wider adoption.

Despite your best efforts, those tenacious monsters will eventually get the upper hand. When a teammate falls, their head literally drops to the ground. Locate it—either by remembering where they died or by checking the map for a small, color-coded icon—it's the key to their resurrection. Finding the head is only the first step.

Once you have the head, head to the extraction point. Drop the head at the extraction point. As long as you've met the round's loot requirement (check the top right of your screen), your teammate will respawn with a mere 1 HP. Jumping into the extraction truck will boost their health, getting them back in the fight.

However, there's a backup plan if retrieving the head proves impossible. Starting a new round will also revive your fallen teammates. Similar to Call of Duty Zombies, this round-based system allows dead players to rejoin at the start of the next round. While this method leaves your team slightly underpowered for the remainder of the round, it can be a strategic advantage, particularly for newer players who can observe experienced teammates in action.
