Mastering Crew Recruitment in Citizen Sleeper 2
This guide details how to acquire every crew member in Citizen Sleeper 2. Remember, while accepting a crew member's offer is usually straightforward, success in certain Contracts or events might influence recruitment. Also, be aware that crew members can be lost due to unlucky rolls or missed opportunities.

Initial Crew: Serafin and Bliss
Serafin and Bliss join your crew automatically at the game's start. While Serafin remains a permanent crew member, he's generally unavailable for Contracts. No achievements are tied to their recruitment.
Recruiting Juni
Juni initially joins temporarily on Hexport. To permanently recruit Juni, head to Helion Gate after completing the "Idle Minds" clock in the Solheim Records area. A cutscene will trigger, followed by a Contract. Accept Juni back onto your ship upon completion.
Recruiting Juni unlocks the "Data Archaeologist" achievement.
Recruiting Yu-Jin
Find Yu-Jin on Far Spindle after completing the "Getting Wracked" clock at Gaia’s Gyre (requires selecting "Order a Wrack" four times, costing 16 Cryo). This unlocks a Contract with Yu-Jin; completing it allows you to recruit him.
Recruiting Yu-Jin unlocks the "The Freelancer" achievement.
Recruiting Luis
During the "Aphelion Beacon" Contract, you have the choice to leave Yu-Jin behind. Doing so opens the opportunity to recruit Luis.
Recruiting Luis unlocks the "Signalchaser" achievement.
Recruiting Kadet
Meet Kadet on Far Spindle after completing the "Spindle Core" clock at the Spindle Core location. This unlocks a new drive and the Stripline Express location. Complete the subsequent tasks at Stripline Express, triggering a cutscene. Finally, travel to the Scatteryards to recruit Kadet.
Recruiting Kadet unlocks the "The Spindlejack" achievement.
Recruiting Femi or Nia
You can recruit either Femi or Nia, but not both. You'll initially meet Nia on Hexport, where you'll also encounter Femi. A later encounter with Femi on Floatsam leads to a Contract ensuring Nia's safety. Upon completion, choose between Femi and Nia.
Recruiting Femi unlocks the "Big Brother" achievement. Recruiting Nia unlocks the "Little Sister" achievement.
Recruiting Flint
After your first visit to Olivera, a Contract unfolds, involving investigating Flint's disappearance. This leads to another Contract requiring swift action to set a trap. Follow Xander to rescue Flint and successfully complete the Contract to recruit him.
Recruiting Flint unlocks the "Fugitive" achievement.
