Pokémon Go’s March Community Day Classic is set to feature Totodile, giving trainers another opportunity to catch this Big Jaw Pokémon in abundance. Mark your calendars for March 22nd, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, when Totodile will be spawning more frequently. Keep an eye out for Shiny Totodile; you might just get lucky!
Evolving Croconaw into Feraligatr during the event or up until March 29th at 10:00 pm local time will grant you a Feraligatr that knows the powerful Charged Attack, Hydro Cannon. This move delivers 80 power in Trainer Battles and 90 power in Gyms and raids, making it a formidable addition to your Water-type team.
To maximize your rewards, consider purchasing the Community Day Classic Special Research for $2 (or the local equivalent). Completing this research will unlock benefits such as a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and multiple encounters with Totodile, some of which will feature a Seasonal Special Background.
Logging in during the Community Day Classic will also trigger Timed Research, available for a full week. This gives you an extended chance to encounter Totodile and evolve your Feraligatr with Hydro Cannon before the cutoff. Don't forget to redeem Pokémon Go codes to stock up on additional goodies!
The event comes packed with several bonuses to enhance your experience. Eggs placed in Incubators will hatch at 1/4 the usual distance, Lure Modules and Incense will last for three hours, and taking snapshots during the event could lead to a delightful surprise.
You can also participate in Community Day-themed Field Research, which will reward you with Stardust, Great Balls, and extra Totodile encounters. Be sure to check out PokéStop Showcases where you can compete with other trainers using Pokémon caught during the event.
