Get ready for a stylish showdown in Pokémon GO! Fashion Week: Taken Over runs from January 15th to 19th, blending high fashion with intense battles against Team GO Rocket. This event offers a unique opportunity to rescue Shadow Palkia by confronting Giovanni. But that's not all! Shadow Ho-Oh will also be available during a special Shadow Raid Day on January 19th.
Two new Pokémon, Shroodle and its evolution Grafaiai, make their debut! Shroodle can be hatched from 12 km Eggs. Prepare for increased Team GO Rocket activity at PokéStops and in balloons, providing ample chances to use Charged TMs and remove the Frustration move from your Shadow Pokémon.
New Shadow Pokémon join the fray: Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. Keep an eye out for Shiny versions! For the first time, Remote Raid Passes allow participation in Shadow Raids, regardless of location.
A special research task unlocks a Super Rocket Radar, leading you to Giovanni and the chance to rescue Shadow Palkia. Field Research tasks offer rewards like Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Complete a Collection Challenge to earn Stardust and encounter Trubbish.

Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day takes place on Sunday, January 19th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. This event features bonus Raid Passes, increased Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rates, and the chance to teach Ho-Oh the powerful Charged Attack, Sacred Fire. A $5 event ticket unlocks even more rewards.
