Today is Earth Day, and Pikmin Bloom has introduced an exciting way to celebrate through the Party Walk event. This time, instead of taking extra steps, you're encouraged to plant more flowers. If you're a fan of Niantic's augmented reality, location-based game, you won't want to miss out on this new event.
When Is the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk?
Pikmin Bloom's special Earth Day-themed Official Party Walk is scheduled from April 22nd to April 30th. During this period, rather than tracking your steps, you'll be keeping count of the flowers you plant. Every bloom contributes to the global total.
To participate, you'll need to actively plant flowers, aligning perfectly with the Earth Day theme. It's all about adding more greenery and purpose to your gameplay, and Pikmin Bloom rewards this effort in a fun way. Based on the collective number of flowers planted during the event, players can unlock unique weather-themed Decor Pikmin via Huge Seedlings.
Here's what you can unlock: if the global total reaches 500 million flowers, participants will receive a Huge Seedling that grows into a Leaf Hat Decor Pikmin. If the total hits 1 billion flowers, you'll unlock a Snow Decor Pikmin. And if the community pushes the total to 1.5 billion flowers, you'll earn a Huge Seedling for a Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin, exclusive to White Pikmin.
But Keep This in Mind
Remember, your flowers won't count toward the total unless you join the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk. Ensure you've updated to app version 117 and signed up correctly. If you haven't yet, you can download the game from the Google Play Store.
