Path of Exile 2's Hidden Golden Idols: A Guide to Finding and Selling Them
Path of Exile 2 features numerous quests, some less obvious than others. This guide focuses on the five Golden Idols hidden throughout Act 3, which, despite being labeled "Quest Items," function differently. Unlike typical quest items, collecting them doesn't update your quest log. Instead, these idols are valuable trade goods.
Locating the Golden Idols
After exploring the Vaal ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment and traveling to the past via a portal, you'll find yourself in Utzaal (The Drowned City). Within Utzaal and the connected area of Aggorat, these idols await discovery. They're not dropped by enemies; instead, they're found on the ground or pedestals, often in side areas.

Selling Your Treasures
Once collected, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and seek out Oswald, located in the northern part of the area. He's your buyer for these unique items.
Sell Prices:
- Golden Idol: 500 Gold
- Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
- Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
- Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
- Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold
Collecting all five idols nets you a tidy 6000 gold. Given their size and lack of use beyond their value, it's recommended to sell them immediately to free up inventory space.
