New Paldean Pokemon Added in Upcoming Pokemon GO Event

Summary

  • Shroodle and Grafaiai will debut in Pokemon GO during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event starting on January 15, 2025.
  • The event includes special research to save Shadow Palkia and encounters with new Shadow Pokemon.

Niantic has exciting news for Pokemon GO players: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai, are set to make their debut in the game during the upcoming Fashion Week: Taken Over event. This event will kick off on January 15, 2025, and promises a range of exciting bonuses and raids for players to enjoy.

Shroodle, a Poison/Normal-type Pokemon introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, features a large head and eyes that dominate its body. At level 28, Shroodle evolves into Grafaiai, a primate-like Pokemon reminiscent of a lemur, known for its large eyes and unique three-fingered hands. Both creatures have also appeared in episodes of Pokemon Horizons, adding to their charm and appeal.

During the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, which runs from January 15 at 12 am to January 19 at 8 pm local time, players can hatch Shroodle from 12 km eggs and evolve it into Grafaiai using 50 Shroodle Candy. The event will also see increased appearances of Team GO Rocket at PokeStops and in balloons, giving players more opportunities to encounter Shadow Pokemon. Using a Charged TM, trainers can help these Shadow Pokemon forget the Charged Attack Frustration. Additionally, taking a snapshot during the event might lead to an encounter with Croagunk dressed in a fashionable outfit.
