Accessing the Dark Aether Nexus and Initial Pack-a-Punch Location
Unlike previous maps, simply reaching the Pack-a-Punch location isn't enough. You must first open the Doorway to Nowhere. This teleporter leads to the Dark Aether nexus.
Find the Doorway to Nowhere in the Subterranean Temple area. Progress through the map, opening doors until you reach the Temple. At the altar, interact with the Amulet (it's automatically in your inventory). This activates the Doorway to Nowhere, granting access to the Dark Aether Nexus.
The Pack-a-Punch machine initially resides within the Dark Aether Nexus, near the center. However, its location changes.
Locating the Pack-a-Punch: Multiple Locations and How to Find It
The Pack-a-Punch machine has two possible locations on The Tomb map.
- Dark Aether Nexus: Its initial and sometimes recurring location.
- Roman Mausoleum: An ornate ruin atop the Dig Site; its alternate location.
To determine the Pack-a-Punch's current location:
- Use your Tac-Map: The main map and Dark Aether Nexus have separate Tac-Maps. If the Pack-a-Punch icon isn't on one map, it's on the other.
- Check the Stone Slab: A stone slab with illuminated sections displays the Pack-a-Punch's location. A symbol on the main map indicates the Roman Mausoleum; a symbol on a separate island signifies the Dark Aether Nexus.
By following these steps, you can consistently locate and utilize the Pack-a-Punch machine in Black Ops 6's The Tomb.
