How the Competitive Rank Reset Works
At the end of each Marvel Rivals season, your Competitive rank decreases by seven tiers. For example, a Diamond I player would reset to Gold II. Bronze III is the lowest rank; players ending the season at or below Bronze will begin at Bronze III in the next season.
When the Rank Reset Occurs
The rank reset happens at the season's end. Season 1 started January 10th (at the time of writing), indicating the reset will occur then.
All Ranks in Marvel Rivals
Competitive mode unlocks at player level 10. You earn points to progress through tiers; 100 points advances you to the next tier. The ranks are:
- Bronze (III-I)
- Silver (III-I)
- Gold (III-I)
- Platinum (III-I)
- Diamond (III-I)
- Grandmaster (III-I)
- Eternity
- One Above All (top 500 leaderboard)
Even after reaching Grandmaster I, you can continue playing to reach Eternity and One Above All.
How Long Do Seasons Last in Marvel Rivals?
While Season 0 was short, future seasons are expected to last approximately three months. New seasons introduce new heroes (like the Fantastic Four) and maps, providing ample time to climb the ranks.
