Warhorse Studios has announced upcoming official mod support for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, empowering players to unleash their creativity in medieval Bohemia.
The developers behind the acclaimed open-world RPG revealed their plans to integrate modding tools via Steamworks in a concise Steam post. While specifics like a release date remain undisclosed, the post confirmed the team's intention to add this feature in the future. Warhorse Studios simply stated that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 mods will enable players to "create, tweak, and expand" their gaming experience. Although unofficial mods already thrive on platforms like Nexus Mods, an official teaser image (below) showcases a potential future: Henry astride a vibrant zebra mount, wielding a fish-shaped sword.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's impressive launch earlier this month clearly paved the way for Warhorse's ambitious post-launch roadmap. Beyond Steamworks mod support, players can anticipate three expansions in 2025. The DLC rollout begins this summer with Brushes with Death, followed by Legacy of the Forge in the fall and Mysteria Ecclesia in winter. Each expansion will enrich Henry's narrative, complemented by free content updates introducing features such as Hardcore Mode and Horse Racing.
