Gacha game enthusiasts are always keen on tracking the financial performance of their favorite titles. The latest figures for January 2025 have just been released, shedding light on the genre's top earners. Genshin Impact, developed by miHoYo (HoYoverse), made headlines with its significant update featuring the Pyro Archon and the banner of Mawuika. This update propelled the game to double its revenue from December 2024, raking in an impressive $99.4 million compared to the previous month's $45.6 million.

In the rankings, Pokemon TCG secured the second spot with earnings of $64 million, showcasing its enduring popularity. Love and Deepspace, often referred to as a "female gacha," followed closely in third place with $55.2 million, highlighting its strong appeal among players.
On the other hand, Honkai Star Rail saw its earnings drop to $50.8 million, while Zenless Zone Zero experienced a significant decline, with its revenue halving from $57.9 million to $26.3 million.
It's important to note that these rankings are based solely on mobile platform revenues. Some of these games, like those from miHoYo, are also available on PC. Additionally, a unique calculation method is used for China due to the absence of Google Play: Android revenue estimates in China are derived using a multiplier based on iOS revenue in the country.
