Epic Games has unveiled the thrilling Battle Pass for Fortnite's upcoming season, aptly titled "Wanted." Forget codenames; this season dives straight into the action with a heist-centric theme. Expect plenty of gun-toting villains, gold-laden getaway vehicles, and explosive bank vault break-ins – all the hallmarks of a high-stakes robbery.
Launching February 21st, the season features a major crossover with the iconic Mortal Kombat franchise. Sub-Zero himself will be a featured Battle Pass skin, perfectly complementing the season's criminal underworld aesthetic.
This collaboration cleverly promotes the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2 film, starring Karl Urban as Johnny Cage and Adeline Rudolph as Kitana.
Skins will be available for purchase using V-Bucks at the standard price of 1,500 V-Bucks per character.

Returning weaponry includes the Flare Gun, C4, and the Diplomat turret. While other weapons remain a mystery, speculation runs rampant. Players anticipate the return of the EMP Grenade, classic SMGs, the Tommy Gun, and even the Grappler, based on the previous heist-themed season (Chapter 4 Season 4). However, these are currently unconfirmed rumors.
A game-changing addition is Smart Building, a predictive system that anticipates your building needs based on your aiming direction.
The heist theme extends to gameplay mechanics. Keycards are out, replaced by vault breaches requiring Meltanite (Fortnite's equivalent of thermite) to access the loot within.
