Sharp Fangs can be found in the Windward Plains, an area you'll explore at the beginning of the game's story. To start your search, consider taking on optional quests such as "Beware the Chatacabra" or "The Desert is Demanding." These quests not only guide you to the Windward Plains but also provide a generous 50-minute time frame to gather resources. Before setting out, don't forget to prepare by cooking and eating a meal to boost your performance.

Gaijos

Your primary target for Sharp Fangs should be the Gaijos, small leviathan monsters resembling crocodiles with uniquely shaped snouts. They are commonly found near or in riverbeds in Area 8, often alone. Use the interactive map to locate them by scanning for purple diamonds near water sources. Gaijos are relatively easy to defeat, making them perfect for farming. After defeating a Gaijos, carve its carcass to obtain 1 x Sharp Fang. Since Gaijos are guaranteed to drop Sharp Fangs, focus on them first. You can find around four to five Gaijos in the Windward Plains upon entering, and you can repeatedly undertake the optional quests to farm more if needed.

Another potential source for Sharp Fangs, though less reliable, is the Talioth. These bipedal creatures roam in small packs in Area 8 and sometimes Area 13. While they are slightly tougher than Gaijos, they can still be managed with starter weapons. Talioths might drop Sharp Fangs, alongside other items like Talioth Scales. Additionally, you can complete the "The Desert is Demanding" quest by defeating 8 Talioths, which aligns well with your farming efforts.
