Zenless Zone Zero's developers at miHoYo (HoYoverse) continue to expand the game's roster. A new trailer showcases the highly anticipated heroine, Evelyn Chevalier.
Evelyn, already a fan favorite even before official release due to beta testing reveals (she dramatically sheds her cape during combat!), is an S-rank Fire-element Assault character. She'll be featured in the second banner of Zenless Zone Zero's 1.5 update alongside Nicole, Anton, and Qingyi.
The 1.5 update itself includes the customary miHoYo (HoYoverse) Polychrome compensation. Players will receive 300 Polychromes for bug fixes and another 300 for technical improvements related to the update. This compensation will be delivered via in-game mail.
Evelyn's gameplay focuses on targeted attacks. Her basic attacks draw enemy attention, enabling extended attack chains. Her multi-stage and special attacks utilize "Forbidden Bounds," tethering her to the primary target. These attacks generate Tribal Threads and Scorch Points, fueling her powerful fire-based abilities, inflicting substantial damage. Her unique combat style, including the aforementioned cape-removal and toss, has already captivated many players who followed pre-release information.
