NCSoft has announced the end of service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush. This is surprising, as the game never even reached its full release. Following a global test in August 2023 and an early access launch in June 2024, the game is shutting down just months later.
Battle Crush End of Service Date:
The game servers will be permanently closed on November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have already been halted. However, players who made purchases between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024, are eligible for a refund.
Refunds for Android and Steam players can be requested between December 2nd, 2024, and January 2025. Players should download any desired content before November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward.
The official Battle Crush website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for any necessary support. Social media accounts and the Discord server will close on January 31st, 2025.
Unexpected Closure?
The announcement is undoubtedly disappointing for players who invested time and effort into Battle Crush. While the game offered enjoyable moments, it faced challenges with gameplay mechanics. Some players reported clunky controls and pacing issues, preventing it from reaching its full potential. These shortcomings ultimately contributed to the decision to end service.
You can still download and play Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before the shutdown. For more gaming news, check out our next article covering the story-driven quests in Black Desert Mobile's Autumn Season.
