‘Dungeons of Dreadrock 2’ Announced, Launching on Nintendo Switch in November with Mobile and PC Versions to Follow

About two and a half years ago, we were captivated by Dungeons of Dreadrock, a delightful dungeon crawler from developer Christoph Minnameier. Inspired by classics like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder, it offered a unique top-down perspective and a strong emphasis on puzzle-solving. Its 100 levels, each a distinct floor in a sprawling dungeon, challenged players to rescue their kidnapped brother. The difficulty was considerable, with some levels resembling intricate logic puzzles requiring careful manipulation of traps and strategic enemy encounters. Our review praised the game's design, and Dungeons of Dreadrock subsequently enjoyed success across numerous platforms. Now, we eagerly anticipate its sequel.

The striking red background, prominent Switch logo, and familiar finger-snapping sound confirm that Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 – The Dead King’s Secret will debut on Nintendo Switch first. The game's website lists a November 28th, 2024 eShop launch. However, PC gamers can rejoice! A Steam version is planned and currently available to wishlist. Mobile players on iOS and Android can also look forward to the game's release, though specific dates remain unannounced. We'll be sure to update you as soon as more platform release dates are revealed.
