Mastering Energy Crystal Acquisition in Fisch: A Comprehensive Guide
The Northern Expedition update in Fisch introduced a challenging mountain ascent with exceptional rewards. To claim the ultimate prize – access to the Heaven's Rod – you must locate four unique Energy Crystals. This guide provides detailed instructions for finding each.
What are Energy Crystals?
Energy Crystals are crucial quest items required to solve the Glacial Grotto puzzle. Successfully completing this puzzle unlocks the Heaven's Rod storage location, a top-tier in-game asset. Four crystals are needed to solve the puzzle.
Blue Energy Crystal Location
The Blue Crystal is the most accessible. Located near the mountain base, it's found within a small cave at the campsite reached by ascending the mountain's left side from the Northern Summit. A Pickaxe (available at the next campsite) is required to extract it.

Green Energy Crystal Location
This crystal is easily overlooked. At the second campsite, locate the large cave with a pond. Interact with the "???" NPC within to obtain the Green Energy Crystal.

Yellow Energy Crystal Location
The Yellow Crystal is the most challenging to acquire, appearing only during the Avalanche event (triggered randomly or via the Totem). It's found on a ledge between the second and third campsites. The Totem costs 150,000 C$.

Red Energy Crystal Location
Obtainable last, this crystal requires interaction with the NPC near the mountaintop crystals. You must activate five red buttons scattered across different islands:
- Moosewood Island
- Snowcap Island

- Roslit Bay
- Ancient Isle
After activating all buttons, return to the NPC. You can purchase the Red Crystal for 250,000 C$ or attempt to steal it (though this is strongly discouraged due to negative consequences).
Final Step: The Heaven's Rod
Once all four crystals are collected, insert them into the large crystals at the mountaintop. This unlocks the Heaven's Rod, but be prepared for the 1,750,000 C$ cost.
