Cyberpunk Action Game Replaced Delayed to Next Year

Thunderful Group's recent financial report reveals a significant delay for the highly anticipated cyberpunk platformer, Replaced. The report, released amidst several rounds of company layoffs, states that the game's release is now slated for 2026 – a further postponement after previous delays.

Initially targeted for a 2022 launch, Replaced has faced multiple setbacks, with previous announcements pushing the release date to 2023, then 2024, and most recently 2025. Sad Cat Studios, the developers, previously attributed the delays to the game's unique development challenges. Despite these hurdles, the studio remains dedicated to delivering a high-quality product, driven by the considerable anticipation surrounding the game.

First unveiled in 2021 during Microsoft's E3 presentation, Replaced has generated significant buzz. While Sad Cat Studios has yet to officially address this latest delay, they've maintained communication with fans, offering glimpses of gameplay, including combat footage and a mini-game showcased earlier this year.
