The Grey Heron awaits in the Wakasa region, near Lake Suigetsu, during winter daytime. Navigate to the islands west of the lake. Approach on foot to avoid startling the heron, and when you're close, crouch and complete the Sumi-E.
Legendary Macaque – All Seasons, Nighttime
Ride to the Yamashiro region and locate the Little Leaf Glade sub-region at night. Find the Sarumaru Shrine and ascend the stairs to discover the three wise monkeys. Capture them in your Sumi-E painting.
Legendary Silver Fox – Autumn, Nighttime
The Silver Fox can be found at night during autumn in the Kii region's Nakahechi Route sub-region. Visit the Kamimisu Inari Shrine, where fox statues are present, and you'll spot the legendary fox at the cliff's edge. Approach quietly to complete your Sumi-E.
Legendary Deer – Spring, Nighttime
In the Yamato region, head to the Yoshino sub-region during spring nighttime. Start from the Mountain Blossom Temple and move east to reach Sakura Meadows. Climb the slopes to a clearing where you'll find the legendary Deer. Capture it in your Sumi-E collection.
