Devolver Digital continues to impress with its stellar lineup of games on Android, including hits like GRIS, Reigns: Her Majesty, Downwell, and Reigns: Game of Thrones. The excitement builds as another thrilling title, Carrion, gears up for its mobile debut. This 'reverse-horror' game, originally launched for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in July 2020, is set to hit mobile devices on October 31st. Developed by Phobia Game Studio and published by Devolver Digital, Carrion promises a unique and chilling experience.
What’s the Concept of Carrion Mobile?
In Carrion, you embody a nightmarish creature, becoming the horror itself. You control a mysterious red blob that slithers, claws, and chomps its way through obstacles. Dubbed a reverse horror game, you don't just survive the terror—you are the terror. As this amorphous creature, known as The Monster, you find yourself initially trapped in a highly secure research facility operated by Relith Science.
Scientists have manipulated your DNA in an attempt to control you, but you've broken free, evolved, and now seek vengeance. Your mission is to escape the facility by any means necessary. As The Monster, you consume everyone in your path—scientists, security guards, and anyone unlucky enough to cross you. You'll crawl through vents, break down doors, and use your tentacles to hunt relentlessly. Carrion on mobile, much like its PC counterpart, allows you to unleash a wave of panic and destruction.
As you navigate through the facility, you'll unlock upgrades that enable you to burst through barricades and grow in size, enhancing your terrifying presence. For a sneak peek at the game, check out the trailer below:
