Deadlock receives another surprise update from Valve, this time focusing on balance adjustments for four heroes and item tweaks. This marks the fifth update of 2025 and the first for February.
Calico suffers significant nerfs. Her Return to Shadows ability now has a ten-second longer cooldown, with a 20% speed reduction shifted to its Tier 2 upgrade. The damage of her Tier 2 Leaping Slash has also been decreased.
Sinclair receives a visual overhaul with updated sounds and animations. More significantly, his Rabbit Hex ability is now area-of-effect (AoE). Holliday and Wraith also experienced nerfs, though the specifics aren't detailed.
Item changes include a reduction in stacks and removal of the health bonus from Ammo Scavenger. Extra Stamina and Restorative Shot no longer boost fire rate and weapon damage, respectively.
