Baldur's Gate 3 offers a wealth of romance options, but some encounters remain hidden gems. One such secret romance involves Naoise Nallinto at Sharess' Caress, easily missed due to its timing within the game's bustling narrative. This guide details how to find and romance Naoise.

Where to Find Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3

Finding Sharess' Caress in Act III:

To meet Naoise, you must progress to the early stages of Act III. While traveling to Baldur's Gate, you'll pass through Wyrm's Crossing. Your first visit will introduce you to Raphael at Sharess' Caress, a brothel located east of the bridge leading into Baldur's Gate. If you've already explored Wyrm's Crossing, use the South Span of Wyrm's Crossing fast-travel point for direct access to Sharess' Caress.

Locating the Nymph's Grotto:

Naoise resides in the Nymph's Grotto, a chamber on the second floor. Look for a door with a green light and ivy – it's locked, but easily lockpicked with a roll of 10 or higher.

How to Romance Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3

Initiating the Interaction:

Inside, you'll find Naoise with Jara, a Flaming Heart soldier, engaged in an intimate moment. Interrupting them will upset Jara, triggering a dialogue exchange. Selecting "Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken" initiates a sequence where Jara transforms into a Mindflayer. Defeat her to proceed.

Naoise then reveals her fascination with Mindflayers. Choosing "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset" moves the conversation forward. A successful Insight check reveals her romantic interest. To progress the romance, select options such as "What did you have in mind?" followed by "Close your eyes and listen."

This romance unfolds mentally. Naoise asks you to choose "what you will be," offering options like Revered, Contented, Powerful, Rich, or declining the encounter. Selecting "Contented" leads to a brief romantic scene. This encounter is unique; subsequent visits will find Naoise uninterested in further romantic interactions. Note that this romance can occur even if your character is already involved with another companion, seemingly without affecting other relationships. Shadowheart will reward you with the "Carnal Rituals of Sharess" inspiration point after the encounter. Successfully romancing Naoise grants the Rapture boon, providing a passive 1d6 bonus to most ability checks.
