Asphalt Legends Unite is partnering with LEGO, bringing the iconic LEGO Technic line of car kits into the game. Real-world LEGO Technic car kits, such as the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, will include a download code unlocking the virtual version in the game.
Gameloft's racing simulator has a history of unique collaborations, including a previous partnership with Lamborghini. This LEGO Technic collaboration is arguably its most unusual yet. LEGO Technic kits are known for their complexity and authentic details, including moving engines and differentials. They've inspired countless builders, from aspiring engineers to seasoned hobbyists.
A limited-time Collector Mode event, running until March 23rd, celebrates the collaboration. Players on all platforms and regions can compete in a special single-player race across San Francisco, collecting scattered LEGO Technic disks.
While some purists might object to the inclusion of "toys" in a racing simulator, the LEGO Technic line's appeal and engineering detail shouldn't be underestimated.
