Aether Gazer's latest update, "Echoes on the Way Back," introduces significant gameplay enhancements. Available until January 6th, this update includes Chapter 19 Part II of the main storyline, accompanied by a side story, "The Ibis and the Moon – Moonwatcher," hinting at pivotal plot developments.
The centerpiece is the introduction of Verthandi, a new S-Grade Modifier, Dimglare – Verthandi, wielding light-attribute melee capabilities. Her versatile combat styles – defensive counterattacks, high-burst damage, or sustained DPS – offer adaptable gameplay. Verthandi's compelling backstory, unveiled through hyperspace experiments, adds depth to her character.
The update also features enhanced combat mechanics. New Ultimate Skillchain combos, such as "Light the Path: Phantasmal Dawn" (Hera & Verthandi) and "Thunder in the Hills: Roaring Thunder" (Thor & Shu), are introduced alongside the "Cycle of Time" Sigil. This Sigil provides ATK boosts, Mod Index Multiplier increases, and Crit DMG buffs (with a 200% multiplier). The new 5-star Functor, Elf – Geironul, further enhances Verthandi's damage output.
