The Goal:
The objective is simple: be the first to get rid of all your cards. The last player holding cards is declared the "Donkey"—and the loser!
Gameplay:
Using a standard deck (no jokers), the game deals out all cards to the players. The player with the Ace of Spades begins. Players must follow suit if possible; otherwise, they can play any card. When all players have played a card of the same suit, the round ends, those cards are discarded, and the player with the highest card of that suit leads the next round.
If a player can't follow suit, they play a card of a different suit, immediately ending the round. The player who played the highest card of the lead suit must then pick up all played cards and add them to their hand. This player then leads the next round. The game continues until only one player remains with cards—the "Donkey."
