Want to avoid walking straight into a rainstorm? Check our rain radar and rain graph before you head out, ensuring you never get caught in a downpour!
The Buienradar app kicks off with either a 3-hour or a 24-hour rain radar forecast. The radar image will illustrate whether rain is on its way in the next few hours or even the following day. Directly beneath the radar, you'll find the rain graph, which details precisely when it will rain and the expected rainfall amount in millimeters. For a more localized view of your city or town, simply tap the magnifying glass icon to zoom in.
The Buienradar app is readily available for your Android phone and tablet. With the handy widget featuring the rain graph, you can stay informed about impending rain without even opening the app!
Exciting news! The Buienradar Wear OS app is back! You can now view the rain radar, rain graph, and forecast for the coming hour on your smartwatch. Look forward to more features being added in the coming months. Please note, the Buienradar Watch App is exclusively available on the Google Play Store and supports only wearables running Android Wear OS.

Personalized weather information is available in the "Komende uren in" table (Next 8 hours weather prediction), tailored to your favorite location, even if it's abroad. This includes hour-by-hour predictions for temperature, feeling temperature, rainfall in millimeters per hour, the chance of rain, and wind force in Beaufort.
Beyond thunderstorm, snow, sun, wind, and temperature maps, we also provide data on wind chill, ground temperature, sun intensity, air pressure, gusts, visibility, and humidity, along with the precise times of sunrise and sunset for your location.
We offer seasonal radar maps as well. In summer, utilize our pollen and mosquito radars to receive timely notifications when it's advisable to set up your mosquito net. During winter, our snow radar keeps you informed about winter precipitation, and we also feature a ground temperature map to alert you about night frost.
The "14-daagse" tab (14-day forecast) provides a graphical forecast for the next 14 days. By selecting the "Lijst" tab, you can view a detailed list, offering an hourly forecast for the next 7 days and a daily average for the following week.
In the "Meldingen" tab, you can set up your own rain alert (free push notification) customized to your daily schedule and preferred locations, ensuring you're never caught off guard by rain or storms.
For an ad-free experience, consider the Buienradar Premium plan at €4,99. You can easily find this option in "Instellingen" (Settings) by selecting "Neem Buienradar Premium" (Get Buienradar Premium).
